THE PROPERTY
This area is host to riding excursions, river walks, and a famous mining museum and centre. Additionally, the Alentejo itself is known for its wide-spanning planes that run all the way to the Tagus and the wild coast; it is a true nature haven.
Driving into the proerpty is impressive, as wrought iron gates guard it, and beyond is a large driveaway. The land around the property consists of pretty pastureland where horses roam freely, and indeed you and your guests can book rides on these horses before coming. The pool is perhaps the biggest attraction of the outside of the villa with sunbeds laid around it, and glistens invitingly in the hot summer sun. A covered, outdoor seating area with an built-in fire pit for cooking and with seating space for all the guests is positioned opposite the pool.
Having said this, the furnishings have been chosen with your utmost comfort in mind, and soft white duvets and pillows combined with the most modern of bathrooms mean you will feel you are in the lap of luxury. Sliding glass doors lead from the inside to the outside terrace, shedding light into the property. This house sleeps 10 guests and there is a weekly cleaning service included, meaning you can truly kick back and relax.
