The house has 5 bedrooms so it can happily accommodate you and 9 other guests. Use of the main facilities of the stately home is also offered with the house. You and your guests can buy the wine that is produced from the vineyards on the grounds. Just miles from the world-renowned Arrábida Coastline, and 40 minutes from vibrant Lisbon, the Chalet offers one of the most enviable postcodes in Portugal.
Inside, the décor is majestical yet cosy, with high vaulting ceilings featuring white wooden beams, an open-play layout and stand-alone fireplace. Large windows with dark wooden shutters open onto the gardens beyond. There’s a large dining table with room for the whole party and a second, smaller table perfect for breakfast, which is included daily when you rent the The Cork Countryside Chalet. 2 spacious sitting rooms feature plush white sofas, ornate old-fashioned wood worked desks. The bedrooms are done up in keeping with the old fairy tale style, with floral wallpaper, wooden headboards and fresh white linen sheets. Some rooms are twin and some are double meaning this is the perfect spot for family and friends alike. The rooms lead onto large modernised bathrooms which are white and crisp, with free-standing baths and power showers featuring in some.
With a swing set to entertain the kids, and a small circular plunge pool with glistening water, the garden is full of amusements. A large outdoor sofa runs along the wall near the pool, so you can sit back and watch your guests or kids enjoy themselves from the comfort of a sofa.
