Hola! Baroness Wanda von Breisky celebrates the launch of CadenzaLux and a birthday, full of rhythm and colour!

In Portugal and with the song ‘Xanadú’ as theme

Celebrating her birthday with a big party full of surprises and moments to remember seems to have become a tradition for Wanda von Breisky. One of the best things about blowing out the candles is being able to do it in the company of the people they love, and that is what the aristocrat, who came into the world in Lisbon in 1976, has done. Together with her family and many friends, she has organized an intense, unforgettable and emotional weekend in which he has also celebrated twice: the beginning of a new return to the sun and the founding of his new company , CadenzaLux, a real estate company with luxury properties. In this new professional adventure, she combines her deep love for Portugal with her extensive experience in renting and managing villas.

Baroness Wanda von Breisky, whose life is also closely linked to art and was the curator of a Juan Antonio Guirado exhibition held in Madrid seven years ago, has been the main protagonist of the three days of festivities that she has organised. But she has also wanted all her guests to have a prominent role and to remember this celebration forever with a huge smile.

That is why she has taken care of every detail and has devised an infallible way to have fun: a theme party. The honoree has proposed that everything revolve around the song Xanadú, composed by Jeff Lynne. Olivia Newton-John and UK group Electric Light Orchestra turned her lyrics into an anthem in the early 1980s and it sure evokes fond memories of her childhood for the honoree.

The events began on the afternoon of Friday June 10 with a welcome cocktail against the backdrop of the Arrábida Natural Park (on the Setúbal peninsula) and at nightfall there was live music. The next day, Saturday the 11th, the good atmosphere continued with a pleasant boat trip. On the high seas, with the impressive views and feeling the breeze, they were able to have lunch and also get off the boat to swim in the Atlantic Ocean. In the afternoon, the epicentre of the celebrations arrived: the Xanadú party, at the Arrábida estate, surrounded by majestic gardens and decorated with attention to detail. A display of light and color in which everyone transformed their looks with glittery, fringed garments, with large shoulder pads and fluorine tones.A trip to the past that left unforgettable moments, a lot of rhythm and impressive performance as well as acrobatics.

The images show the full happiness that the Baroness felt laughing and dancing with the people who are part of her circle. She was even encouraged to DJ in the company of her daughter Cleo, born from her relationship with producer Antony Frew, with whom she also had Vincent .

She also did not miss her little sister, Tatiana von Breisky, with whom she has a very close relationship . They are so close that when her father passed away, Wanda left Miami to return to Portugal and be able to be close to both her and her mother. Tatiana is linked to our country due to her relationship with Javier Suárez Illana, the youngest son of the well-remembered Adolfo Suárez, who was the first president of the democratic government in Spain.

Among the guests who enjoyed the party and the dream setting were Alex Friedrich, Anne Lakstigala, Natasha Baring, Amélie Zichy, Sara Coutts, Annabel Earle Feld, Francisco Santos, João Oliveira, Carla Borborema, Filipa Marques, Carlota Franco, Wolfgang Zichy de Vasonkeo, Celina Teague, Lee Barfield or Vaness Ford. The Baroness has numerous friends with whom she shares hobbies and concerns. Wanda von Breisky studied decorative arts and business before moving to the US and then the UK to work in the luxury travel industry. In addition, she is a great traveler and an avid cook.

For Wanda, there is a turning point in her life: the death of her father in 2007. The loss of Stefan von Breisky, who stood out for being the youngest stockbroker on Wall Street, turned the art curator into a person Very reserved and learning to live with this absence was very difficult for her, as she recognized in Caras , coinciding with another of her birthdays. She currently feels that her parent, of Austrian origin, accompanies her daily. Losing one of her pillars, she explained, “tested my limits, personality, patience, love, compassion. Today I am more humble, I don’t take anything for granted.”
