The house is located just five minutes on foot from Carvalhal Beach and 10 minutes from Pego Beach. It's also close to the town of Comporta with its gorgeous 60km long beach. Other local attractions include the Serra de Grândola mountain, which is great for hiking and biking, the Moorish town of Santiago do Cacem, with its quaint cobblestone streets and fortifications.
